Queen guitarist Brian May has announced sad news on Instagram.
“Sad news, I’m afraid. Little Luna didn’t make it. She lost her battle in the early hours of yesterday. Anne says, ‘Luna’s injuries were just too severe. She never really had the will – she had given up in her heart and what ever we did she wouldn’t fight. The trauma of the attack and isolation from her family was all too much”. Well, life is like this. You can’t win every battle. But we’re all very sad to lose this one. Bri.”
He later wrote, “Our musical family of fox cubs are doing really well. Eyes wide open, legs strong, and beginning to be curious about the world around them. They’re about 2 weeks old now. Amazing that it takes human babies at least a year and a half to get to this point ! Bri.”
“And we have one more baby ! This is Hannah Solo – who was rescued all alone as the sole survivor of a tragedy. She’s a few days older than Do, Re, Mi, Fa, So, La, and Ti, and – as you can see – she’s a little bit redder and pointier in the face. Soon she will have seven playmates – and Anne has an amazing trick for getting the family to accept her as a sister. You will see !!! Bri.”
