Queens of the Stone Age singer Josh Homme has received his fair share of criticism in the last several months, but he had a very fan friendly moment during the band’s recent set at Boston Calling. Homme called out security to tell them to lay off fans who were just having a good time.

Homme said, “No, you can sit up on the shoulders, it doesn’t matter. Security, it’s fine, these people are here to party. They aren’t going to fuck shit up, they’re going to have a wonderful fucking time, I swear to God. You know what to do, right? Everything is going to be a-okay.”

You can watch video below via the QOTSA Reddit. Homme also had a nice moment with a fan recently at a show in Calgary. After the fans sang happy birthday to Josh, he noticed a fan with a sign that said it was her birthday. “Happy fucking birthday. I love you, we have the same birthday. But what I was saying was, we come together at individuals, and what I understand is this is another group of individuals, and we all come together to make a night that we will never remember. That’s the whole point, come together, be kind and loving to each other. Dance, drink, get laid. That’s the whole point.” You can watch video of that as well below.
