Jamie Weiland, the widow of Stone Temple Pilots’ original frontman Scott Weiland, is selling paintings of her late husband on Etsy.com for $850.00. Jamie announced on Facebook, “So appreciate all the support for my photography…It turns out, I also paint. Take a look…I am selling my one-of-a-kind pieces on Etsy. I have a series of limited edition photo prints coming soon, too…” She is also selling other paintings for $85.00.
The first portrait of Scott Weiland has sold on Etsy, but the second one is still available. The description reads:
“From the series I am doing of my late husband, Scott Weiland. Acrylic on brown paper bag with gloss finish (extends colors, integrity and provides excellent UV protection). Tears, seams, etc. are intentional ‘flaws’ in my work. Scan doesn’t encompass entire piece – there is a 1/2″ border around the actual painting. It is signed and dated.”
