Slash’s girlfriend Meegan Hodges recently told fans that Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators would be returning to the studio later this month to record a new album, but shortly after this statement Myles Kennedy told Eddie Trunk that there were no concrete plans for the band to return to the studio.
Hodges has now reacted to Kennedy’s comments on Instagram, stating: “Maybe you should ask the band guys.”
Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash’s girlfriend Meegan Hodges and his bandmate Myles Kennedy appear to have differing views over his future.
Hodges recently wrote on Instagram, “Slash had no break….He has a record to make with SMKC. With that said finishing decorating our house. Paint, antique shopping and fleet markets. Finally gonna have some time.”
When asked about a new Conspirators album, Hodges responded:
“They get back in the studio at the end of the month.”
Myles Kennedy seemed to have a differing view on Eddie Trunk’s podcast this week, stating that he has had text conversations with Slash, but that there are no concrete plans since things are going so well with Guns N’ Roses and since Kennedy himself has a new solo album coming out in March. Kennedy said after his 2018 solo album cycle, he will go back to Alter Bridge for a new album in 2019.
