Smashing Pumpkins and Foo Fighters are two bands that seem to just go so great together and we are glad that some shows are happening between the two legendary alternative rock bands. In fact, there will be a ton of friends joining the two acts as we enter Rockville in Daytona Beach, Florida this May.
The four day festival in the sun features so many amazing acts that are set to take the stage such as KISS, Smashing Pumpkins, Jane’s Addiction, Bush, Jerry Cantrell, Foo Fighters, Megadeth, Korn, Guns N’ Roses, Breaking Benjamin, Rise Against, and countless other very important bands that have shaped so many lives of those around us.
The announcement comes to us from the official Smashing Pumpkins page where fans have flocked to say that they will be in the crowd to see their favorite band preform alongside their other favorite bands.
The concert looks like it’s going to be one that is incredibly stacked and I haven’t seen a fest look this good for a while now. Jerry Cantrell will also be there in support of his new album ‘Brighten’ which has been getting received pretty well from Cantrell and Alice In Chains fans alike.
Smashing Pumpkins and Foo Fighters are also coming off of some hype as Smashing Pumpkins released some songs on their album ‘Cyr’. The reaction to the album was in the middle by fans, but Pumpkins may be gearing up for some new music.
Foo Fighters are coming off of their album ‘Medicine At Midnight’ which has a rating of 94% enjoyed by fans which is huge for anyone. Some are arguing that it is their best work in almost ten years. Overall, the fest looks great and be sure to grab your tickets while you can as we see this fest selling out pretty darn fast!
