Tool VIP fans had the chance to get hold of signed box set of the band’s 2019 album, which was only available to fans who bought the Toolarmy VIP tickets to the dates on their current US tour. It turns out one of the fans on Reddit, Beardedbrah85 didn’t receive the merch kits. It seems the fan had reached out to the support team as they apologized for the delay.
Fan reveals message from the Tool support team
The team had assured the fan that the merch kits would be sent out by the end of April. Here is what the message read:
“Thank you for reaching out to Tool about VIP package merch. I understand that you’ve been waiting for your order for quite some time now and I can’t imagine how you feel about this delay. We apologize for the inconvenience.
We had intended to ship out the exclusive merchandise that comes with the Tour Packages around the your event date. Unfortunately, some of these custom items have been even further delayed in production due to supply and labor limitations. We are anticipating all VIP merch kits to be sent out by the end of April. We promise to keep you updated as soon as we have more information but rest assured you WILL receive your exclusive merch.”
Tool are back on road with their concerts. Recently, One of the fans on Reddit, JSatyra noted that there is a merch “clique” that consists of a few admins of various Tool-related groups and their “”popular” members. The fan claimed that “They are literally ripping the band and countless VIP/GA attendees off to obtain all the merch they possibly can.” The fan revealed how some are entering the concerts illegally.
