Travis Barker has recently given the fans of Blink-182 what they have been possibly waiting for. In a photo that Reddit has picked up; you can see that Travis Barker has shown the guitar pedals that Mark Hoppus uses, teasing that the band are working on an album with Tom DeLonge.

As many bass guitar players are aware of, Mark Hoppus doesn’t use too many guitar pedals in his rig. Even more shockingly, he uses guitar pedals that don’t really make sense at all for the guitar tone that Blink-182 are known for, which leads us to believe that the pedals are not going to be for anything Blink-182 related.

The pedals in the photo are the following: a classic Russian Big Muff, a classic Super Fuzz, what looks to be a custom made phase pedal, and a Kemper amp.

This news comes in as Matt Skiba said that he doesn’t know if he’s still in Blink-182. The Alkaline Trio vocalist joined the band in 2015 as a replacement for guitarist Tom DeLonge who left to “to change the world for my kids”.

The trio of Mark Hoppus, Travis Barker and Skiba then recorded two albums together – 2016’s ‘California’ and 2019’s ‘Nine’ – and toured extensively.

However, one fan asked if Skiba was still a member of the pop-punk legends since there’s “no Blink content” on his Instagram and “the Blink guys don’t post pictures with Matt”.

Matt said: “Your guess is as good as mine. Regardless, I am very proud of and thankful for my time with Blink 182. We shall see…”
