Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan has shared a new handwritten note about his ‘strange journey.’ He wrote on Instagram: “Notes from a strange journey #wpc.”

The notes state:

Where to go?
Solo OD’s
Vacation?

The note seems to have to do with Corgan’s recent musical career, with ‘solo OD’s’ likely referring to solo overdubs. Corgan previously talked about planning to return to Nashville in February to record overdubs for his upcoming solo double album. Corgan is currently in the studio with The Smashing Pumpkins in Malibu working with producer Rick Rubin.

The Smashing Pumpkins have launched a mailing list and advertised it with the band’s original logo. The Pumpkins said, “Sign up to be the first to know.”

D’arcy Wretzky recently announced that Billy Corgan, James Iha, and Jimmy Chamberlin would reunite for a summer tour kicking off in July, and that she was ‘disappointed’ when she was recently informed that she wouldn’t take part in the tour, even though she was ‘supposed to.’ 2018 is the Pumpkins’ 30th anniversary, and the 25th anniversary of Siamese Dream.

Corgan also recently gave a shout out to his brother Rick on Instagram.

“If you get a chance, check out (and please follow) my brother @rickcorgan who does custom airbrush work (mostly for motorcycles and cars). This is a recent bike/gas tank that looks suspiciously like my niece @avughh smoking a cigar.”
