Deftones frontman Chino Moreno joined The Smashing Pumpkins onstage at their 30th anniversary show in New Jersey to perform “Bodies” and “Snail.” Watch videos below.

After suffering the tragic losses of icons like Chris Cornell, Layne Staley, Scott Weiland, and Kurt Cobain, Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan believes Grunge is primed for a comeback. He discussed the topic in a new Instagram story Q&A.

Do you think punk/grunge will make a comeback?

“Yes.”

Do you believe rock and any sub genre is dead in today’s world?

“No longer, no. I once did but no more.”

How do you feel about modern music?

“Improving, and fast.”

Any advice to new bands?

“Ignore everyone’s advice. And I do mean everyone. Mom Dad Friends GF’s BF’s and HIPSTERS.”

Will social media be the death of us?

“You can’t die if already dead.”
