Popload are reporting that Pearl Jam are rumored to play at Rock in Rio 2019 a year from now, along with Muse and Pink. Below are translated quotes from Popload’s piece.

“In reality, at the Rio festival, it should be the show number 19 [for Pearl Jam], if confirmed. But it goes that touch again in São Paulo, to complete the twentieth. The fact is that the American band Pearl Jam, after playing in Lollapalooza Brazil this year, returns to the country next year, to participate in the mega-festival Rock in Rio 2019, Popload learned.”

“Rock in Rio only announced the day of the metal, that happens in October 4, 2019 (Sepultura, Megadeth, Scorpions and Iron Maiden). The festival, which takes place mostly in October for the first time, another exclusive info from Popload months ago, is set to roll on September 27th, 28th and 29th and October 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th.

According to a large Brazilian music portal, cof, the singer Pink and the group Muse are also in the voluminous lineup of Rock in Rio.”

Dublin Live reports that Pearl Jam ‘are being VERY strongly tipped to play Malahide Castle next summer.’

The Cure will play a sold out gig at the venue on June 8th.

An insider told Dublin Live: “The Pearl Jam gig is definitely going ahead – it’s all done and dusted, planning is sorted with Fingal [County Council] – all that remains is for it to be announced.”

“It’s a dead cert.”
