Stone Temple Pilots posted on Twitter, “Happy Birthday Scott. On this day, you are the gift that was given to so many of us. Thank you. We love you and miss you. Happy Birthday Brother.”

Former Scott Weiland and the Wildabouts posted, “Happy Birthday brother Scotty ???#ScottWeiland ??✨?forever in our hearts. RIP -today and every day we love and remember you..”

Former Scott Weiland and the Wildabouts bassist Tommy Black posted, “This photo was on Scott’s birthday around 6 or 7 years ago.

I had a red-eye/all night flight back from a gig in Tokyo and Doug Grean texts me… ‘Scott really wants you to meet him for paintball for his Birthday today.’

So I landed at LAX, drove all the way to some paintball place in Orange County. We only played for like 20 minutes then he wanted to go home to watch the Notre Dame game. He really loved Notre Dame…

His house was getting new floors at the time, so we sat on plywood sub floors and shot airsoft guns into the fireplace while watching the game. I waited till Jamie Weiland showed up (this was before they were married) and then went home so they could spend some time together. Happy 51st birthday my friend you are missed.”
