The Smashing Pumpkins performed their Depeche Mode cover “Never Let Me Down Again” for the first time since 1995 in Madison, Wisconsin on Wednesday night. “Never Let Me Down Again” was the B-side to the “Rocket” single in 1994 during the Siamese Dream era. They also performed “Dross” live for the first time since 2000, and played “Heavy Metal Machine” live for the first time with James Iha since 2000.

You can watch videos of “Never Let Me Down Again”, “Dross”, and “Heavy Metal Machine” below. The Smashing Pumpkins are currently working on a MACHINA reissue and Billy Corgan has discussed the possibility of recording new versions of previously unheard MACHINA era songs.

The Smashing Pumpkins are currently on a 30th anniversary series tour that is also in support of their new album Shiny and Oh So Bright Vol. 1/LP: No Past. No Future. No Sun.
