Jerry Cantrell Reveals If Greta Van Fleet & Weezer Deserve Grammy Nominations

Alice In Chains’ Rainier Fog was nominated on Friday for a Grammy for Best Rock Album. Below are the nominees:

Alice in Chains – Rainier Fog
Fall Out Boy – M A N I A
Ghost – Prequelle
Greta Van Fleet – From the Fires
Weezer – Pacific Daydream

Jerry Cantrell seemed impressed by the competition, congratulating them in a new Instagram post.

Jerry Cantrell posted, “Very proud of our Grammy nomination for our album Rainier Fog. I think it’s some of our finest work and would like to thank my band mates and everyone who worked on bringing it to fruition. If you haven’t checked it out yet give it a listen. I also extend my congratulations to our fellow nominees. Pretty fucking cool!!! Long live rock #rainierfog.”

Chris Cornell’s “When Bad Does Good” was nominated for Best Rock Performance.
