During a segment on WWE Monday Night Raw, wrestler Dean Ambrose referenced the Pearl Jam and Chris Cornell supergroup Temple of the Dog. Ambrose mentioned the iconic band when making a song request to Elias, whose character plays guitar and sings live for the audience.

Ambrose said, “What are you doing there bub? You trying to play me off the stage like this is the Academy Awards or something?”

Elias responded, “No, it’s not the Academy Awards, because if it was, I’d be on my second standing ovation by now. Now what you did is you came out here and you interrupted me, and I was about to sing a song about how much I love Atlanta. I mean, Atlanta is just so fascinating to me. Atlanta is fully capable of hosting the Super Bowl, winning it now, that’s an entirely different story.”

Ambrose said, “Come on man, I don’t know why you’re in such a bad mood. Look, I’m a big fan of yours, alright. I came out here to request a song. Do you know any Temple of the Dog.”

Elias nodded his head and responded, “Yeah.”

Ambrose then asked, “Night Ranger, Yankee Doodle, Thunderstruck?”

Elias said, “Yes.”

Ambrose asked, “Or is it time for Dirty Deeds?”

The wrestlers then brawled.
