The Pretty Reckless singer Taylor Momsen touchingly thanked legendary Foo Fighters and Nirvana guitarist Pat Smear in a new Instagram post for giving her his signature Hagstrom guitar. She also called Smear ‘one of the best people’ she has ever met.

Momsen wrote on Instagram, “#guitaroftheday the legendary Pat Smear is one of the best people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, he gave me his signature Hagstrom guitar a few years ago and it’s fantastic, thanks Pat ❤️ #inthestudio #tpr4.”

The Pretty Reckless singer Taylor Momsen has been becoming a part of rock royalty in 2019, fronting her hero Chris Cornell’s band Soundgarden for multiple songs at January’s ‘I Am The Highway’ Chris Cornell tribute show. Momsen also recently attended Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl’s 50th birthday party, which was attended by big names like Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan and Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic.

Momsen was photographed with Grohl, getting the seal of approval from Good Guy Dave. A photo of Momsen in the background of Grohl blowing out his birthday cake also surfaced, with a Taylor Momsen Twitter fanpage tracking her down in the background.

The Pretty Reckless are currently in the studio recording a new album.
