The Who frontman Roger Daltrey claimed that the Queen and Freddie Mercury biopic Bohemian Rhapsody had a ‘really thin script’ in a new interview.

“You wouldn’t want a film about me, there isn’t a rating low enough. You wouldn’t want that,” he joked about the band’s hedonistic lifestyle. “I will do the Keith Moon film and that will have a low rating to, that will be the antithesis of Bohemian Rhapsody. And I haven’t seen Rocketman but I saw Bohemian Rhapsody and I thought Rami Malek deserved what he got. He did a great job with a really thin script.”

He said (via Metro), “I am definitely making the film about Keith when I get the right script. I don’t want to make a biopic, I want a drama where Keith is the central character. ‘I never met anyone like him in my life and I don’t think I ever will, and you should all be grateful for that. He was wonderful but dangerous and very frustrating. He was an uncontrolled genius, completely out of control.”

Queen guitarist Brian May wrote in a new Instagram post, “Tube advert ! Big night ! Fiddler on the Roof today begins a new chapter in the West End as my amazing lady wife Anita Dobson and the multi-award-winning and truly fabulous Maria Friedman join the brilliant cast. I will be proud to be there tonight. Get a ticket if you can from the Playhouse box office. Limited run for this cast. Don’t talk to me about tube trains. I’ve paid my dues, time after time, on the Good ol’ District Line !!! Gotta love it !😊 Bri.”
