Jaime Bennington, the son of late Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington, alleged on his Instagram stories that Chester’s widow, Talinda, filed for a restraining order.

“On 11.23.23, I was served with a Domestic Violence Restraining order request by my father’s widow,” Jaime revealed. “Someone I had called a mother since 2004. The order was entirely rooted in falsehoods, and served only to prevent me from telling my truth.”

“Talinda’s restraining order request asked that: 1). Jaime be banned from the state of California. 2). That the DV order include 4 additional protected people: my siblings Tyler, Lilly, Lila, and her roommate’s (Amanda Van Roberts) daughter Aiyanna. 3). That the DV order be made permanent for 3-5 years.”

“The court hearing which would determine the legitimacy of Talinda Bennington’s claims against me was scheduled for 12.12.23 (a New Moon). After careful deliberation, I decided that I would be representing myself in the case against Talinda Bennington,” Jaime stated.

“When it was time, I represented myself. The court did not allow me to submit ANY EVIDENCE in support of my position. And by the end of the hearing, despite the fact that I wasn’t permitted to share my evidence, the court somehow determined that by technicality MY TESTIMONY FULFILLED Talinda’s own BURDEN OF PROOF.”

“The Domestic Violence Restraining Order was granted, albeit with modifications. The court decided: 1). To impose a stay-away order of 100 yards, 2). To remove my siblings and Amanda’s daughter from the protected peoples category. 3). To impose the order for 1-year only. Talinda Bennington had gotten away with lying under oath.”

Jaime has criticized Linkin Park for carrying on with Emily Armstrong as their new lead singer.
