Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder and Bill Murray were on the field to celebrate the Chicago Cubs’ first World Series championship since 1908 in Cleveland in November. Murray and Vedder had tearful reactions to the victory, and then took to the field.
Vedder said, “I’m just so proud to be able to witness this team, and witness these guys, and witness that manager, and witness those coaches, and witness everybody in the office. They are truly an inspirational group of fellas.”
