After his recent legal victory regarding allegations of misconduct with Evan Rachel Wood, Mariyn Manson has taken to Instagram to share a post, captioning it ‘A new beginning.’ His wife Lindsay Elizabeth Warner also posted a series of photos of Manson with the caption, ‘Faith.’

In a significant legal development, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office has concluded its multi-year investigation into allegations of domestic violence and sexual assault against musician Marilyn Manson, whose real name is Brian Warner. The district attorney announced that no criminal charges will be filed, citing the expiration of the statute of limitations for domestic violence claims and insufficient evidence to prove sexual assault beyond a reasonable doubt.

This decision marks a notable turn in the legal battles between Manson and his former fiancée, actress Evan Rachel Wood. In November 2024, Manson agreed to dismiss his defamation lawsuit against Wood and pay her legal fees amounting to over $300,000. The lawsuit, initiated in 2022, accused Wood of defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress following her public allegations of abuse. Wood’s legal team successfully challenged portions of the lawsuit under California’s anti-SLAPP statute, leading to the dismissal of several claims.

While Manson’s attorney expressed satisfaction with the conclusion of the criminal investigation, stating that Manson is pleased with the outcome, advocates for the accusers have voiced disappointment. Some have criticized the decision, arguing that it reflects broader challenges in prosecuting abuse cases in the entertainment industry.
