BREAKING NEWS: Steven Adler REUNITING with Guns N’ Roses?

Guns N’ Roses have announced the DEPARTURE of drummer Frank Ferrer, fueling speculation that Steven Adler or Matt Sorum could return ahead of the band’s 2025 tour.

Frank Ferrer joined Guns N’ Roses in 2006 as a temporary replacement for Bryan “Brain” Mantia, who left due to personal reasons. He became the official drummer later that year and has remained with the band, contributing to the album Chinese Democracy and numerous tours.

Matt Sorum replaced Steven Adler in 1990 and played on Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II. He toured extensively with the band before being dismissed in 1997 following disagreements with Axl Rose. In recent years, Sorum has spoken about his time in the band, expressing mixed feelings about his exclusion from reunion activities.

Steven Adler, the band’s original drummer, was fired in 1990 due to struggles with substance abuse affecting his performance. Despite his departure, Adler has made occasional guest appearances with Guns N’ Roses, including their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction in 2012. However, he has not been reinstated as a full-time member.

Speculation about lineup changes continues, but without an official statement from the band, any rumors about the return of Sorum or Adler remain unverified. Fans will need to wait for an official announcement.
