A Chris Cornell episode of the Reelz Channel series ‘Autopsy: The Last Hours of…’ is currently being filmed. Zoran Trajkovic is directing.

Autopsy: The Last Hours of… is a documentary-style television series that investigates the tragic, controversial and sudden deaths of celebrities. The series debuted in 2014 on Channel 5 in the United Kingdom and was later broadcast in the United States by Reelz. In 2016, the first American produced season of Autopsy aired with Panama City, Florida’s former District 14 medical examiner Dr. Michael Hunter taking over as the host. The UK produced episodes featured Dr. Richard Shepherd and subsequently (after about the first ten episodes), Dr. Jason Payne-James (for about five more episodes) analyzing the official autopsy reports of various celebrities to determine their cause of death.

For its eighth season, premiering on Reelz on February 11, 2018, new hour long episodes have been slated to examine the deaths of James Dean, Elizabeth Taylor, David Bowie, Lou Reed, Muhammad Ali, Miles Davis, James Brown, Marvin Gaye, Andy Warhol, Cass Elliot aka “Mama Cass”, Andy Kaufman, Farrah Fawcett, Mindy McCready, Johnny Cash, George Harrison, George Michael, Gram Parsons, Barry White, Mary Tyler Moore, and James Gandolfini.

  • Karyn 🇬🇧

Please, please leave this beautiful man alone to rest in peace. My heart is breaking all over again. 😢💔

  • Dawn Corra

    I agree Karyn.

  • M.

This is authorized by the family ??. I mean, the grandmother talks about protecting children, this program is necessary, when not a year has passed since her death?.
I hope it’s a false rumor. I find it in bad taste.

    • Olga Stewart

Well, they (the K family) don’t seem to know what good taste is.

      So this is not surprising.

      • M.

Yes, we already know that good taste is not the specialty of this family, just remember the guitar straps and Christmas balls that sold a few months ago. I would not be surprised if they approve this project, especially if it fits the story of the relapse.
Maybe the widow has a central place in that documentary.

        • Olga Stewart

          Central place?

All the more reason to not watch it.

          • M.

She will surely give her testimony. She will not miss the opportunity to have a minute of camera.
Although I hope that this time practice a bit, because her previous appearances on television were shameful. She could not even pretend was sad.

  • Skipsma

No way I’m watching this. Couldn’t even watch video of his last concert. This is sickening!

  • 🖤 Ꮧríαnnє

Not surprised. With today’s reality based programming, this type of show was sure to happen, at some point. I will not be watching it, though. I don’t care who the celebrity is. Ridiculous.

  • Olga Stewart

Oh but for the love of God, NO, NO, NO!

I won’t be watching this travesty.

And damn it but why can’t this man be left to rest in peace?

This just makes me upset all over again.

  • Alternative Nation

Did any of you people ripping Vicky even read the damn article? It’s a show that covers celebrity deaths dating back to James Dean, are you guys going to shit on James Dean’s relatives too? Give it a rest. Closing comments.
