Sebastian Bach recently opened up about his experience on The Masked Singer. He disclosed that certain bands prevented him from performing their songs during his appearance on the show.

The former Skid Row shared the details in an interview on Get on the Bus. He discussed both the challenges of performing in costume and his song selection process for the competition show.

“The Mass Singer was a trip because trying to perform in that giant costume is very claustrophobic,” Bach said.

The singer then explained which songs he was able to perform. He also revealed which ones were blocked by the original artists.

“But they let me pick my own songs which I thought was great,” he continued. “So I got to do Elton John’s ‘Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.’ I got to do ‘Magic’ by Pilot which is one of my favorite vocal songs.”

Bach then revealed his frustration with the songs he wasn’t allowed to perform.

“I wanted to do Europe’s ‘The Final Countdown’ because I can murder that f*cking tune,” he said. “And I wanted to do ‘Don’t Stop Believin’ by Journey because that’s one of my best tunes I could do. But they couldn’t clear those songs. Thanks a lot Europe. Thanks a lot Journey.”

Bach’s experience on the reality singing competition reflects his broader career as a versatile performer. He has maintained his vocal prowess across different entertainment mediums.
