Last month, TMZ revealed that 38-year-old congresswoman Lauren Boebert and 57-year-old musician Kid Rock partied together at one of Donald Trump’s inaugural bashes. “Lauren was totally transfixed by the rock star, yapping away, doing a little dance, and clapping like she was front row at his concert—basically giving Kid Rock all the hype he needed,” a source told the publication.
Now, according to the New York Post, it is being reported that the two were spotted getting into a cab together at 2:30 in the morning on the night of the inauguration.
Lauren divorced her husband of 16 years, Jayson Boebert, in 2023. Months later, in early 2024, Jayson was arrested on gun charges after a fight with his son Tyler.
The altercation reportedly happened when an inebriated Jayson stuck his thumb in his 18-year-old son’s mouth in such a way that his son feared he was going to “pull his tooth out.”
Lauren has also previously been the center of controversy. In 2023, she was famously kicked out of a performance of “Beetlejuice” in Denver, Colorado after “causing a disturbance.” While theatergoers complained of the congresswoman’s loud singing and vaping during the performance, security footage also showed Lauren publicly groping her date inappropriately.
Kid Rock also made news recently for hitting on a BBC reporter during an inauguration day interview. Rock told the flustered reporter that she sounded “sexy” and then proceeded to ask her out on a date during the live broadcast.
When asked by the New York Post if either of them would like to comment on the claims that they were seen taking off in a cab together after an inauguration party, Lauren’s rep said, “I think we’ll pass,” while Kid Rock did not respond.
