Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash celebrated his 51st birthday over the weekend, and prior to GNR’s shows at MetLife Stadium he had a birthday dinner. Slash’s girlfriend Meegan and bandmate Duff McKagan are shown in a photograph at the dinner, along with McKagan’s wife Susan and daughters Mae and Grace. Axl Rose and Slash’s other Guns N’ Roses bandmates are not shown in the birthday dinner photo.

Alternative Nation reporter Lauryn Schaffner filmed Axl Rose wishing Slash happy birthday Saturday night at Guns N’ Roses’ show at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. While Axl wished Slash happy birthday, nobody sang ‘happy birthday’ like Bumblefoot, Frank Ferrer, and Tommy Stinson got at previous GNR shows.

Guns N’ Roses have released the first official professional shot group photo of their 2016 lineup in a new tour book they are selling at concerts. In the photo, keyboardist Melissa Reese has a hilarious smile next to Slash and a serious looking Axl Rose. Check out the awesome photo below of the summer’s hottest touring rock band!

Guns N’ Roses last official photo was released in 2014, one of the few post early 90’s official group photos of Guns N’ Roses.

Guns N’ Roses performed “Catcher in the Rye” for the first time on the ‘Not In This Lifetime’ tour at their second show at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough on Wednesday night. The band had rehearsed the Chinese Democracy track the previous day, but it was not one of the alternates on the setlist.
