Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis revealed what deceased rock legend he can’t erase from his phone in a new ET interview.

“Jonny Cash. I won’t erase him, I will not erase him. I can’t erase him, no.”

He also discussed meeting Paul McCartney, “Well, meeting Paul McCartney, I can’t say he’s the biggest, best person to party with, but meeting a Beatle kind of puts you in that dream land, of there are people bigger than life walking this planet with us. Especially when they’re nice, David Bowie was the same. The wizard, getting to hang out with him was a dreamy experience.”

He also discussed his son Everly recently singing with him on stage, “I’m not trying to be the stage Mom, pushing him into this thing. He suggested that he was comfortable doing a verse of that song, I was like, ‘Okay, well let’s practice it.’ He was like, ‘No, I already practised. I’m good, tonight’s good.’ He’s a little bit smarter than his Dad. He’s not so impressed, he shushes me, to him I’m probably a bit of a dork, and that’s something I just have to work on accepting.”

He later said, “The last time I checked, kids did not take advice from their parents, but the writing and the traveling, and the making mistakes with your friends is the best part. Once you get there, it’s kind of like, okay, what do I do now? So I would tell him just to have fun, go out and fail if you have to, but just go out and do it.”
