Twitter user down_undershoe gave a beautiful painting of Chris Cornell and Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready to McCready himself at an event in Los Angeles on Tuesday night. down_undershoe wrote on Twitter, “So if anyone gives a flip, I met Mike McCready last night. He choked up when I gave him this painting. He liked my cartoon shirt, too!”

Mike McCready discussed Robert Plant attending Pearl Jam shows in a new KLOS interview with Steve Jones, and interview Plant on Pearl Jam Radio. “Very fun, very English sarcasm going on.”

Jones asked if Plant liked Pearl Jam, “I’m not sure if he did.  He came to a couple of our shows, so I’m hoping that he did.  I think he did, I hope so.”

McCready discussed his passion for taking polaroid pictures, and said Gene Simmons also used to take a lot of photos on the road.

“He told me that.  All of his dates.”

Jones responded, “I wouldn’t them dates.  After the show things.”

McCready said, “The groupies that he did, and I think they all got stolen, all those books, was the word on the street.  When I took a picture of Gene, he said, ‘I have many polaroids.’  I thought, ‘I know that, I know your story.'”
