AC/DC are set to bring the “Power Up” tour to North America in 2025, as the group returns to the road in the United States for the first time in nine years. They have revealed the dates of the tour. They have also launched t-shirts which have tour dates on it, indicating more will not be added. Ticket prices are also visible.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band will perform with special guest The Pretty Reckless. AC/DC features Angus Young on guitar, vocalist Brian Johnson, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, drummer Matt Laug and bass player Chris Chaney.

The tour shares its name with the rock group’s 2020 album, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard chart.

On November 11th, several fan sites for the band reported how a Facebook event was listed for AC/DC – taking place at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota on April 11th, 2025. It was soon removed from Facebook, and the band have yet to comment about it.

Before the page was taken down, it reportedly indicated that tickets would go on sale this Friday, November 15th. This suggests that an official announcement regarding a North American tour may be imminent.

The tour will follow the conclusion of the rock veterans’ ‘Power Up’ UK and Europe tour, which wrapped up with its 24th and final show on August 17th at Croke Park in Dublin.

This tour marked the first series of performances with the new lineup and it includes singer Brian Johnson, guitarists Angus and Stevie Young, drummer Matt Laug, and new bassist Chris Chaney, known for his work with Jane’s Addiction and Alanis Morissette.

The last time AC/DC performed in the US was at last year’s instalment of Power Trip festival, which took place in Indio, California.
