AC/DC drummer Chris Slade said ‘goodbye’ to 2019 in a new social media post, though he is ‘welcoming’ 2020. Could he be preparing to tour with Angus Young, Brian Johnson, and Cliff Williams? We’ll have to see if it is Slade or Phil Rudd drumming if AC/DC do indeed tour in 2020! An AC/DC member announced a new 2020 album a few days ago.

“Goodbye, Au Revoir, Auf Wiedersehen, Adios 2019, you were good to us!!!! ⚡ We played the UK, France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and for the first time took the band to Corsica and a tour of Spain. More locations, including a return to Italy, are being added all the time.

There are new changes to the set and we are working on new original songs to throw into the mix. If you see a show near you, come along, say hello… It will be great to have you along to help us rock the new year!!! Welcome 2020 – We Salute You⚡ Keeping Music Live⚡#dwdrums #kemperamps #musicmanguitars #Londondrumstickco.”

Slade wrote a few days prior, “It’s that time of year again!!! Hope you have a very Merry Christmas and the Happiest of New Years!!! Thank you all for your support on here and at our live shows!!! From Chris Slade, Christine, James, Steve, Bun, Mike and Andy! #dwdrums #kemperamps #musicmanguitars #Londondrumstickco #2020.”

He also said, “What a pleasure to return to Italy on 14 FEB 2020 – ACDC drummer Chris Slade with his own band THE CHRIS SLADE TIMELINE celebrating over 50 years in ROCK! #Italy #dwdrums #kemperamps #musicmanguitars.” Guns N’ Roses discussed Brian Johnson being ‘replaced’ in AC/DC a few days ago.
