The Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp is scheduled to unite legends from Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and Alice In Chains.

Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Camp is gearing up for their next exciting camp, “Sounds of Seattle.” This unique experience celebrates what many consider to be the golden age of Alternative Rock and is set to take place over Presidents’ Day weekend, February 17-20, 2022 in Los Angeles, California with special guests Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains, Soundgarden’s Kim Thayil, and Dave Krusen, the original drummer of Pearl Jam.

In addition to jamming and learning from an array of talent, attendees will play public performances at the legendary venues The Viper Room and The Whisky-A-Go-Go in Hollywood. Campers can reserve their spot now at Rock Camp’s website. Mentor Dave Krusen (Pearl Jam, Candlebox) will be jamming with the campers on Sunday, February 20th at the famous Whisky-a-Go-Go at 7:30 pm.

Returning to the camp for a record third time is Alice in Chains’ Jerry Cantrell. The Guitarist had quite a memorable experience at the last camp he attended. After meeting two AIC fans and relating a story about a stolen guitar he had received from Eddie Van Halen 19 years before, the dedicated duo tracked the guitar down and helped Cantrell retrieve it!

Of the fortuitous meeting, Rock Camp Founder David Fishof exclaims, “We are so excited to have Jerry back on this year’s camp. Witnessing the two campers listening to Jerry’s story of the stolen guitar and then hearing how they tracked down the thief and Jerry was able to get his prized possession back, it was definitely a highlight from that camp for all of us.”

Dave Krusen reunited with Pearl Jam at the 2017 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction, while former drummers Dave Abbruzzese and Jack Irons were not inducted with the band.
