AC/DC book author Susan Masino has strongly hinted at a major AC/DC tour announcement being imminent on her Facebook page. AC/DC recently uploaded stunning videos on their YouTube page after years of silence. Susan is friends with Angus Young, so she has the best source when it comes to AC/DC news!

She wrote, “Have a safe, healthy, happy weekend! To all the AC/DC fans out there, you should be celebrating. It’s going to be worth the wait. Let there be ROCK!”

Susan liked a comment that said, “Brian back in black gonna be epic.” This appears to confirm news that Brian Johnson is back as AC/DC’s lead singer, replacing Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose, who admirably stepped in for the 2016 ‘Rock or Bust’ final tour legs after Johnson had hearing issues. Phil Rudd and Cliff Williams are also rumored to be back for a new album and tour, after leaving in 2014 and 2016 respectively.

A surprising rumor regarding an AC/DC 2020 huge European tour date surfaced just a few days ago. A “reliable source” that is “close with the AC/DC camp ” told V100 that AC/DC’s upcoming tour will include singer Brian Johnson, who exited in 2016 due to hearing issues. “It’s been rumored for months now that he’s been working with the band and we’ve been told those rumors are true,” the station said. “Brian has been working special in-ears made for his performances so that he can continue to perform without causing any more damage to his hearing than he already has.”
