Axl Rose and Slash attended AC/DC’s show at the Rose Bowl and had an adorable moment with a young fan, as seen below.

On April 18, 2025, AC/DC shook the foundations of the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California, with a thunderous set that thrilled a sold-out crowd. The concert was part of the band’s long-awaited North American leg of the “Power Up” tour, their first U.S. tour in nearly a decade.

The night kicked off at 8:30 PM with a hard-hitting rendition of “If You Want Blood (You’ve Got It),” immediately igniting the stadium. From there, AC/DC launched into a setlist that balanced fan favorites with newer cuts, including “Back in Black,” “Thunderstruck,” “Shot in the Dark,” “Highway to Hell,” and “Hells Bells.” The energy never dipped, and the encore of “T.N.T.” and “For Those About to Rock (We Salute You)” capped the night with explosions and cannon fire, wrapping up just before 11 PM.

The lineup featured Angus Young on lead guitar, Brian Johnson on vocals, Stevie Young on rhythm guitar, with Matt Laug on drums and Chris Chaney on bass filling in for longtime members Phil Rudd and Cliff Williams. Despite the changes, the band’s chemistry remained razor sharp. Angus Young delivered his trademark duckwalk and blistering solos, while Brian Johnson’s voice roared with renewed power.

The crowd, ranging from longtime fans to a new generation discovering the band’s legendary sound, responded with deafening applause and nonstop energy. The show proved that even after five decades, AC/DC remains one of the most explosive live acts in rock and roll.
