Billy Corgan & Marilyn Manson Watching Mayweather vs. McGregor Is Awesome

Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan watched the Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor fight with Marilyn Manson, according to Corgan’s collaborator Linda Strawberry. Strawbery wrote on Instagram that Corgan told a story about meeting Chris Farley while watching the fight.

She wrote, “Ready for the fight #mayweathermcgregor billy is telling a story about a time on SNL when he ran into Chris Farley sweating in a huge pumpkin suit ???.”

“And Manson is here cracking me up. ???”

William Patrick Corgan and Manson were friends in the 90’s, but had a falling out. They reconciled a few years ago and The Smashing Pumpkins and Marilyn Manson co-headlined The End Times tour in summer 2015. Manson attended WPC’s 50th birthday party earlier this year.

While in the Los Angeles area, Corgan also recently brought his son Augustus Juppiter to Disneyland for the first time. He told Radio X in a new interview it was a sentimental experience because he himself first went to Disneyland when he was 7 years old in 1974. Corgan also discussed how Rick Rubin came to produce his new solo album Ogilala. Corgan said he called Rubin asking for recommendations on producers for a new solo album, but after explaining his idea for the album, Rubin insisted on producing the album himself.
