Billy Corgan has removed the “Thirty Three” Smashing Pumpkins podcast on Spotify. Now, it’s not available anywhere. Many fans are annoyed that they can’t finish it, wondering if they missed any news about why it’s gone. It’s unclear why Corgan removed it from Spotify.

In a recent interview with Kerrang!, Billy Corgan walked his UK tour and what fans can expect from the setlists. He revealed that he doesn’t plan to play the band’s most famous songs every night.

He stated that he only plays the songs he personally wants to perform, regardless of their popularity. He mentioned that he doesn’t feel obligated to play certain tracks just to please the audience, as he finds that approach somewhat cheesy.

“I don’t play any songs I don’t want to play. I don’t care if they’re a classic or not,” he told the outlet. “If I don’t want to play it, I just don’t play it. I don’t put that on the audience like, ‘Well, I’ve got to play this one for you.’ I think that’s kind of cheese.”

Instead, he plans to include some of the band’s lesser-known tracks in the setlists. He hopes this will make the shows more interesting for dedicated fans and encourage newer listeners to explore the band’s full catalogue.

“Here’s the best way I would say it: the best show for me would be, you’re a fan that really is mostly focused on the older music,” Corgan continued.

“You come and you hear those songs you think, ‘Wow, those sound great, band sounds great. The voice is still there.’ You feel good about your decision to come to the show.”
