Blur’s drummer, Dave Rowntree, is excited about the Oasis reunion and said he’d be one of the first to see them live. Oasis, led by the Gallagher brothers, announced a series of 17 summer stadium concerts across the UK and possibly more, but some fans had a lot of issues with Ticketmaster for the Oasis reunion.

Even though Blur and Oasis were rivals in the 1990s, Rowntree has no hard feelings as he revealed in a recent interview. Dave Rowntree mentioned that he would “definitely go and see” Oasis on their upcoming reunion tour. Despite their past rivalry, Rowntree shared that the bands now “all get along well.” He also added that he’d be “first in the queue” to see the Gallagher brothers perform, as he’s never seen Oasis live before.

“Blur and Oasis combined changed what the pop music genre meant, and that doesn’t happen very often.”

Tickets for the Oasis tour sold out quickly, but the way the prices changed has caused some controversy, with experts saying it might break consumer laws.

Rowntree’s excitement matches Blur frontman Damon Albarn’s, who had previously hinted that Oasis might reunite. Albarn’s comments came as Blur started their own comeback tour.

Noel Gallagher, reflecting on the different paths of Blur, Pulp, and Oasis, admitted that while Blur and Pulp handled their careers more calmly, Oasis had a rougher split. Now that Oasis is back, it looks like they might also tour in the US.
