Popular singer Britney Spears is seemingly ‘staying positive and doing okay’ after a police welfare check left her ‘freaked out’ this week, a source exclusively told DailyMail.com.

The pop icon had sparked concern among her fans when she shut down her Instagram page once again, leading them to call the police to check on her well-being, a move which left the singer begging fans to ‘respect her privacy.’

Now, the Toxic hitmaker is focused on finishing her book and maintaining a positive outlook on life.

”She’s doing okay,” a source close to Spears tells DailyMail.com.

”She’s navigating this new life, finishing her book. It’s a process but [she’s] getting there.”

The fans calling the cops freaked her out for sure but she’s staying positive.’

This comes after Britney hit back after the police visit in a Twitter post and stressed that police never ‘entered’ her house and stayed at her gate – but  said the situation went ‘a little too far.’

Spears reportedly had a meltdown at an LA restaurant that caused her husband, Sam Asghari, to leave the establishment as first reported by Page Six. People who allegedly witnessed the incident told TMZ that the pop icon, 41, was “manic” and began speaking gibberish. The spouse of the Grammy-winning artist, 41 had denied that she had a ‘manic meltdown’ at a Woodland Hills, California restaurant over the weekend.
