Linkin Park, the iconic 2000’s band that has been on a hiatus after the death of frontman Chester Bennington, has left the fans speculating if they will reunite next year. The band’s guitarist Brad Delson has also teased the fans with a new post, seemingly confirming he is in on the reunion.

Reports have emerged that a reunion could be on the cards and Billboard reported that three band’s core members Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, and Dave “Phoenix” Farrell are gearing up for a reunion tour that could kick off in 2025. The band’s DJ Joe Hahn is also seemingly involved.

Linkin Park recently added a 100-hour countdown timer on their official website and social media accounts and it has sparked speculation about what the band has in store for the fans. The website URL also features ‘ø’ which is also the title of the YouTube video hosting the countdown timer. The timer will hit zero on Wednesday, August 28.

Mike Shinoda had previously posted the timer on his Instagram account. Now, Brad Delson himself has posted the same.

Brad Delson teases Linkin Park fans

Brad Delson shared the Linkin Park countdown timer and he has now joined the likes of Mike Shinoda, Dave Farrell, and Joe Hahn in sharing the countdown. Chester’s widow, Talinda Bennington, and others have also shared the post. However, the band’s drummer Rob Bourbon hasn’t posted as he is not active on social media.

The band could bring in a female lead vocalist to replace Chester Bennington, which could change the whole dynamic of the band. This would be a bold move and could also be a way for the band to honor Bennington’s legacy.

In other news, it’s been nearly a quarter-century since Linkin Park released their debut album Hybrid Theory. It has remained a classic in the hard rock space and it has come to light that Hybrid Theory is back on a Billboard chart this week. Listeners have pushed the title back onto a ranking it has already spent years on. The album has reappeared at No. 18 on the Top Hard Rock Albums tally, which ranks the most-consumed full-lengths in the genre in the country.

Linkin Park’s debut album is one of the band’s eight albums that have reached the top of the Top Hard Rock Albums chart. This achievement is one of the greatest in history, and the Grammy-winning band has been adding to it for many years, even though they are no longer releasing new music.
