Chris Cornell’s daughter Toni is posting a new interview she conducted with actress Rita Wilson on her photography Instagram in parts. Below is Part 1:

Q: What made you want to become an actor? Did you always know that’s what you wanted to be?

A: I did not choose to be an actor, but when I was in high school and I was 15 years old, I was a cheerleader, and a girlfriend of mine had an audition for The Brady Bunch. It was for the role of a cheerleader so she asked me if I would help her learn some cheers. I did, and I Went to the audition with her and they asked me if I was there to audition and I said no. Then they asked me if I would like to audition and if I could cheer. I told them I was a cheerleader too, so I auditioned and I didn’t get the role my girlfriend wanted, but I got the role of another cheerleader who also had to be good. So that got me my screen actors guild card, so from that I started doing a bunch of commercials. It wasn’t until I was in my twenties that I started formally studying acting and believing that maybe this was my job.
