Coachella 2027 Presale Hit by AXS Errors

Coachella’s 2027 ticket presale opened Friday morning, but many fans reported they couldn’t complete purchases after entering the online queue, raising early concerns about the rollout for next year’s festival. The advance sale covered both weekends of the event, which Goldenvoice announced shortly after Coachella 2026 wrapped in April.

According to SFGATE, buyers described the presale system repeatedly failing to connect them to checkout, with some encountering an “Oh no!” pop-up that prompted a refresh and forced them to start over.

The report cited a Reddit user who said they had never experienced similar problems in 13 years of trying to buy Coachella tickets, adding that they were kicked off multiple devices and did not see an option for the lowest pricing tier. SFGATE also said its own staffers struggled to secure passes during the presale window.

By early afternoon, one staffer who eventually completed a purchase observed that Weekend 2 appeared to sell out in presale before Weekend 1, which they were able to buy instead. The article noted that chatter about the second weekend gaining popularity has been circulating among fans in recent years.

Goldenvoice and ticketing platform AXS were contacted about the issues but had not responded by publication time. With presale demand typically setting the tone for the months ahead, the glitches could increase pressure on organisers and AXS to clarify what happened and whether any fixes will be implemented before future sales.
