Neal Schon’s Wife Posts Video Amid Arnel Pineda Exit Talk

Journey exit rumours surrounding singer Arnel Pineda flared again this week after a cryptic message from the frontman, but guitarist Neal Schon’s wife, Michaele Schon, appeared to push back by sharing upbeat backstage-style footage from the band’s Las Vegas stop.

The post arrived shortly after Pineda shared a lengthy statement reflecting on his “18 and a half years” with the band, referencing “mishaps” and “gigantic self-doubt,” before adding that “for now, the story will go on” and asking for privacy while he navigates “a new chapter in my life.” The wording fuelled online speculation that he could be preparing to step away, even as he did not directly announce a departure.

Journey have faced similar chatter before, and Alternative Nation previously reported that the band addressed Pineda firing rumours amid heightened fan concern over his status.

As of the latest Las Vegas show, there has been no formal statement from Journey announcing a lineup change, and the band’s public focus remains on touring. For now, Michaele Schon’s post is being read by many fans as a visual reminder that Pineda is still very much part of the onstage and offstage picture.
