Courtney Love has been granted a temporary restraining order against her ex-manager Sam Lutfi, PEOPLE confirms. Lufti is known for his involvement with Britney Spears years ago.
The Hole frontwoman’s request was approved by a judge on Tuesday after she had filed documents claiming that Lutfi has been harassing her and her family via emails, texts and phone calls, according to TMZ. Love, 54, also claimed that Lutfi, 44, has been demanding money he believes he’s owed for his services.
“The escalating verbal harassment and threats of Sam Lutfi left no choice for Courtney and her family but to seek protection,” a representative for Love told PEOPLE in a statement. “The Cobains are grateful for the anti-harassment order issued by the Los Angeles Superior Court against Mr. Lutfi and the powers it provides law enforcement to assure that Mr. Lutfi terminates all contact with the family.”
Frances Bean Cobain’s ex-husband Isaiah Silva is suing Courtney Love and Sam Lufti for allegedly trying to have him murdered to get back Kurt Cobain’s MTV Unplugged guitar.
TMZ reports that Isaiah Silva claims in a lawsuit filed earlier earlier this year, that in the early hours of June 3, 2016, Sam Lutfi, along with 2 other guys burglarized, robbed, assaulted, sexually battered, kidnapped and attempted to murder him at his West Hollywood Home.
Silva says the goal was to get the guitar that was made famous on “MTV Unplugged” that he claims was gifted to him by Frances Bean.
Silva claims the group also injured his mother.
Silva is also suing John Nazarian, actor Ross Butler and musician Michael Schenk … claiming they were all involved in the conspiracy. BTW, he alleges they made their way inside his house by pounding on the front door and yelling, ‘Police, open up!!!” and “LAPD, open the f******* door!!!” And he claims, Lutfi grabbed Silva’s genitals through his pants, moved to within inches of his face and whispered, “Listen fa***t, calm the f*** down or we’ll drag you upstairs and take turns f****** you.”
