Dave Grohl’s wife, Jordyn Blum, is uncertain about leaving him after the affair as per a source via Rock Celebrities.
Three months has passed since Grohl announced he had a baby girl outside his marriage, a source told People the couple is trying to move forward. They explained, “It was just such a shock for Jordyn. Her first instinct was that she wanted a divorce.”
“The betrayal felt too heavy. But as weeks passed, she got some space to think and it just felt very sad to her if the family would split up,” the source added.
They then revealed that the couple’s marriage “is still not in great shape,” but “they are trying to move forward.”
Grohl and Blum had tied the knot in 2003 and have three daughters: Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10.
In September, Grohl announced the birth of a fourth daughter. “I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage,” the rocker said in a statement on Instagram at the time.
“I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her.”
Dave added, “I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.”
In November, a source told People that Blum had processed everything and that things at home had calmed down.
They noted, “She doesn’t want to make any hasty decisions, since it’s all affecting their girls. She’s still unhappy and not wearing her wedding ring, but things have calmed down. She’s leaning on friends.”
In October, Grohl and his wife were also seen without their wedding rings. However, by November, a source noted that Grohl was no longer working with a divorce lawyer and was hopeful to reconcile with his wife.
Another source mentioned that Grohl has been focusing on his family, admitting he made mistakes and doesn’t want to lose them. Foo Fighters have no upcoming shows after canceling a festival appearance in September.
