A man has claimed to have definitive proof that Taylor Swift is Miming lead vocals on ERAS Tour, ‘Dave Grohl was right.’
Youtuber ‘Wings of Pegasus’ recently created a controversial video claiming he has objective proof that Swift is miming lead vocals on the Eras tour.
Most people recognize that nearly all pop stars use backing tracks during live shows nowadays. However, many fans of Taylor Swift, known as “Swifites,” believe that she does not lip-sync her lead vocals.
Wings of Pegasus has presented evidence that he claims proves Swift is, in fact, lip-syncing. He aligns audio from a vocal track during live performances in Liverpool, Tokyo, and Portugal, suggesting that they are the same recorded track. He argues that whoever edited the vocal track intentionally made it sound like a live performance.
He also asks the question on whether it is ethical for a singer to collect billions of dollars from fans, when they ‘aren’t singing, just dancing’
Taylor Swift had seemingly hit back at Dave Grohl for suggesting that she and her band don’t play live at her Eras tour.
The Foo Fighters frontman had told the fans at his concert in London on June 22nd that he called his band’s show the “Errors Tour” because they’d had a “few more eras and more than a few f***ing errors” because “we actually play live”.
Swift appeared to address Grohl’s insinuation on stage at her Wembley show the next night as she thanked fans for attending her three-and-a-half-hour-long performance.
Speaking to the 90,000 people filling the stadium for her third London show of the Eras tour, Swift said her band deserved “so much” recognition. She told fans: “What you just did is an unforgettable moment in not just my life, but every very single one of our crew. The band that’s going to be playing live for you for three and a half hours tonight.
“They deserve this so much and so does every one of my fellow performers, and you just gave that to us so generously. We’ll never forget it.”
