Late Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington’s son Jaime Bennington recently took to Instagram stories and questioned the truth behind his father’s and the band’s social media accounts. He further made claims about Mike Shinoda.

Jamie Bennington raises questions on Mike Shinoda

Jaime started sharing some theories regarding the social media posts made just a short time before his father’s passing. He claimed in his stories that most of the posts didn’t make sense, and questioned the truth behind it.

“I wonder who has access to the LINKIN PARK official social media and the social media of each individual bandmate. Did someone have access to Chester’s social media,” he asked in a story.

Jaime also dropped a screenshot of Mike Shinoda’s tweet a couple of years after Chester’s passing. The supposedly ‘accidental’ tweet was shared from Linkin Park’s original X account.

“I doubt I’ve ever laughed as much doing a podcast. Thanks for having me on to talk about porn, first impressions, exposed boob etiquette, and #Dadnoda,” it read. Shinoda later replied to the post with, “Welp, I meant to tweet that from my account, not the LP account. Oh well. Go listen to it anyway!”

A couple of years after these tweets, Shinoda dropped another tweet that read, “I don’t tweet from the LP account.”

This caused Jaime to suspect that one of those two tweets was a lie.

“Considering that Mike doesn’t post through the official LP accounts it’s worth wondering… 1) Does Mike run his own social media? Or do all band members have ‘controlled accounts,’” he shared in another Instagram story, adding, “2) If ‘they’ had access to Chester’s cell phone and social media did ‘they’ ever post as Chester? If so, how much of Chester’s truth has been compromised, for how long has this truth been compromised, and in what way has this truth been compromised?”

Jaime also claimed a few times that his father didn’t die the way people are saying he did.
