Dave Matthews Band has canceled their Fire Aid performance due to a ‘critical illness in the family.’

In a remarkable display of unity, the music industry has swiftly organized FireAid, a benefit concert to support Los Angeles communities devastated by recent wildfires. Spearheaded by music mogul Irving Azoff, the event was conceived and announced within 48 hours, underscoring the urgency and commitment of all involved.

Scheduled for January 30, 2025, FireAid will take place across two iconic Inglewood venues: the Intuit Dome and the Kia Forum. The lineup boasts an impressive array of talent. At the Intuit Dome, attendees can anticipate performances by Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Stevie Wonder, and Olivia Rodrigo, among others. Concurrently, the Kia Forum will feature artists such as Joni Mitchell, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Green Day, and No Doubt.

The concert aims to raise over $60 million through ticket sales, sponsorships, and donations. Notably, the Eagles have already contributed $2.5 million to kickstart the fundraising efforts. Proceeds will be managed by the Annenberg Foundation, focusing on both immediate relief and long-term initiatives to prevent future fire disasters in Southern California.

For those unable to attend in person, FireAid will be streamed live across multiple platforms, including Amazon Music, Apple Music, Netflix, and YouTube, ensuring global participation in this philanthropic endeavor.

This concert not only exemplifies the power of music to unite and heal but also highlights the resilience and generosity of the artistic community in times of crisis.
