Duff McKagan revealed why Guns N’ Roses reunited in a new WCPO article.

“So, how did the band get back together? Who made the call?” I boldly asked Duff McKagan. “Hmm.. I haven’t rehearsed these answers. I haven’t done any interviews about this yet,” he joked. McKagan went on to say that even when GNR members were working on other projects, they stayed in touch thanks to their shared interest in merchandise and music royalties. It wasn’t much money he says, but enough to keep them in contact. He called the GNR reunion a mutual decision. I’ll buy it!

Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer did a brief interview with Slash recently and discussed Guns N’ Roses’ reunion.

“All the shows have been great that we’ve done so far,” Slash boasted about the tour. “Last night was only our third show on this leg and then we did seven shows previous to that.” When Joey Kramer asked the guitar guru if everyone in the band is “playing nice”, Slash said “Everybody’s playing great, yeah. Playing nice, yeah, everybody’s getting along,” although he admits that he his bandmates were skeptical at first. “We all were pretty positive that that would never happen,” he continued, “so it’s still sort of blowing our minds. It seems so surreal to me, but everybody’s really getting along great and I think everyone’s come a long way and it’s all cool.”
