Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder recently gave a touching speech about Chris Cornell’s daughter Lily and covered “Seasons” in Dusseldorf. Sadly, a fan was disrespecting Vedder during the show and had to be escorted by security. Pearl Jam later had video of Vedder’s performance pulled down.

PJKnopf posted on the Ten Club board:

“There was also an aggressive screaming drunk idiot that had to be escorted out of the block some rows behind me and I also do not understand the amount of people forcing others to stand up and make room to leave the row for a new beer every second song but of course that’s not Eddie’s fault. On the other hand this night was unreal. I expected an amazing, emotional show but this one was something else. I second the guy up front with his sign ‘Thank You for who I am’. :)”

“Funny, that guy was really pissing me and a lot of people off…. holding up his huge sign for almost the entire show and blocking everyone else’s view behind him! Show it once or twice but then it’s enough!”

“It really was a fantastic night! At the beginning of the show you could already feel that something special was going to happen.

The bromance between Ed & Glen is just awesome to see. Glen sounded fantastic too! I think these 2 will really kick some ass again in Dublin on Wednesday.

The shouting guys between the songs were a bit irritating but the crowd was awesome with so many standing ovations! Also fun to see so many Belgian and Dutch people there, it’s like they had put us all together in the D block section!

Black, Last Kiss, Alive, ….. Unbelievable setlist and of course that ending… WOW! Thanks for the memorable night everyone!”
