Eddie Vedder’s Family Releases Emotional Handwritten Note To Fans

Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder’s wife Jill has released the following handwritten note about the Mexican and United States border. Some fans seem to think it is Eddie’s handwriting, but it could be Jill’s as well. View it below.

Chris Cornell’s daughter Toni also recently wrote, “My father, Chris Cornell, taught me to help those that are less fortunate and to speak for those who do not have a voice. I am grateful to have visited the refugee camps with him and International Rescue Committee. For #WorldRefugeeDay this year I want to share this song we recorded together in honor of all he believed in.

All proceeds from its sale on iTunes will go to the IRC, an organization he supported with his last video, The Promise , that was also released for World Refugee Day last year . Babies and children are being separated from their parents at the US border. It is not ok for this to continue. This isn’t about politics, it’s about children and babies. Please help us continue to #keepthepromise for my dad and let’s all help protect the most vulnerable children.”

You can also view Toni’s post from Chris Cornell’s page below, featuring a photo.

what’s the number I can call to have Vedder exposed as a fraud….

    • Wayne Cormier

      1-800- shut up and sing

  • Wayne Cormier

Let’s see if I have this right. Illegal aliens (my apologies to the UFO guys) come here knowing that they will be seperated from their kids but they know that idiotslike Eddie Vedder will whine about it, so they come anyway. Screw you and them Vedder.

Ah full of love for your fellow human beings. I’ve read about a word called ‘empathy’; try it one day.

  • Matt N Sarah

Well I made the call and its a bit more detailed than simply calling and saying that. You have to be connected to either your district senator or representatives office then they want personal info….THEN you can tell them your support for the act.
Then whoever answers the phone has no idea what you’re talking about….

Aren’t you a little concerned that it’s so difficult to state your opinion when you are part of a functioning democracy? That in itself is concerning. Are you fearful of giving out personal information to officials?

      • Olga Stewart

I wouldn’t be giving out my personal information to officials because of what they could use it for.

Unless it was absolutely necessary to do so, then I would keep it to myself.

That’s how people feel when their society is breaking down. When Eddie Vedder is criticized it reminds me of dictators and oppression of their citizens. The first people they attack are the artists and the intellectuals because they usually speak the truth and are threatening to dictators. Oh and don’t forget that they tend to get rid of the free press.

          • Olga Stewart

Well, this isn’t only to do with society.

I have trust issues (comes from being a victim of abuse).

So I just have a difficult time both trusting and opening up to people, period.

Therefore, I prefer both keeping some things to myself and working on things by myself.

Yes, a person has to take good care of themselves and only you know what’s best for you; at the same time we need to give each other a hand up at times.

          • Olga Stewart

            All of this is true.

    • Olga Stewart

They don’t know what you are talking about once someone answers the phone?

      Well, that sounds promising.

Why would you put something about Toni Cornell with something about Eddie. Your girlfriend is gonna be mad!!! You really aren’t bright are you? It’s safe to say that things like this should remain separate articles if you can call then that! I could have written this better. And you put more info about what Vicky told you to, than about Eddie. Ask Vicky where all her charitable donations are?! Non existent !!!

    These headlines are hilarious…

These pretzels are making me thirsty (let’s see if anyone gets this reference)

    Thanks for trying Eddie Vedder.

“The world in which you were born is just one model of reality. Other cultures are not failed attempts at being you; they are unique manifestations of the human spirit.” Wade Davis

I would think the time that Pearl Jam spends in South America makes them understand this completely.

Why are we detaining anyone? Make it to where they cannot just walk over. These people are not fleeing Mexico. They are not refugees. Hell I know many people that vacation in Mexico1-2 a year. Make them go through the proper channels to come over like everyone else. They are not in f..king concentration camps for God sakes.Stop the frigging media hysteria over this already.
