Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder’s wife Jill Vedder was stunned by a young teen boy dealing with the brutal EB disease named Rhys sadly dealing with depression due to his sickness. Pearl Jam and Courtney Love reacted to tragic news yesterday.

She wrote, “PLEASE READ 💙 I think we should bring some love and hope into the life of this little man living with EB .. I was sent a story about this boy, 13 year old Rhys from Lancashire, England. His mother had gone to the news in her town and said her butterfly child is losing hope.

The pain and depression he feels as a result of this vicious disease is really starting to weigh on him. His mother was hoping that people from around the world would send him a birthday card for his September 21st birthday as a small gesture to cheer him up . I say we flood his post box with love and greetings from around the world. Just a simple act of kindness that can really brighten someone’s day 💙💙 Cards can be sent to …Rhys at ~40 Whalley Avenue, Bolton, England, BL1 5UD~. #choosekind #healeb @ebresearch #Happy14thBirthdayRhys please share 💙.” Eddie Vedder and Pearl Jam’s music saving a big name from a suicide attempt was revealed earlier this week.

Jill Vedder also recently posted, “Spent a gorgeous Seattle evening supporting @everymomcounts …Did you know that up to 98% of maternal deaths are preventable? Join our community to be part of the solution. Thank you to all the ladies who came out to support this cause and together we can make make childbirth safe for women across the globe 🌎 🌎. @everymomcounts.” Eddie Vedder having fun in Las Vegas with Carmen Electra and Dennis Rodman was detailed a few days ago.
