Perhaps one of the most popular films of the year of our Lord, 2022, Elvis star, Austin Butler, is has been reported spent an entire week in the hospital after filming the movie. Was he in there due to exhaustion, or was it for other reasons? We have often heard that actors “channel” characters they portray – in fact, we’ve been hearing a lot of that lately what with Jake Paul and such. Did Austin channel what he shouldn’t have, and that’s why he ended up in hospital?
As per Thirsty For News, Austin Butler attained fame via his performance as Elvis Presley in the 2022 movie, “Elvis.” However, Butler recently recalled a time when he spent a week in the hospital and was confined to a bed after he finished filming.
Butler told People, on the 2023 SAG Awards red carpet this past Sunday:
“I had a week of downtime, where I actually ended up in the hospital.” Butler called his time spent working on the film “the greatest ride of my life,” despite experiencing health hardships.
“I didn’t get sick the entire time I filmed [‘Elvis’] but the day I finished, I ended up in the emergency room.
So, I spent a week in bed and then I went to this other job.”
