Original Pearl Jam drummer Dave Krusen discussed being included in the band’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame lineup on Pearl Jam Radio’s Faithfull Forum. Alternative Nation transcribed his comments.

When asked what he’d like to play with Pearl Jam if he gets a chance to reunite with them at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, he responded, “The easiest song, I don’t know what that is. Maybe ‘Just a Girl,’ because they haven’t played it since they played it with me.”

“I mean I don’t even know if I’ll be playing with them, but if I do, I probably won’t find out until 10 minutes before.”

He was also asked what his current relationship is with the band.

“We don’t really have one, just because it’s been 25 or something years. I haven’t even been in the same room as these guys since 1991, and I believe I was hauled off by security guards at that. I’m just really looking forward to it, I think everything’s fine, I love them, hopefully they don’t hate me, and it’s all good.”

He said that he did see the band perform live at Fenway Park last year, and loved the show. He said he is still blown away he will be part of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

“It’s awesome, it’s like, oh my god! I’m seriously shocked, I obviously feel a little like I’m not so deserving, but I appreciate them going out and doing all of this, and me getting to sneak in at the end.”

He said he hopes he will perform with the band, “Hopefully, I’ve got my fingers crossed.”
